problem with my gal civ3 in steam

hi guys  for the last week i had(and still)got problem with my steam accouint .... at first i thought i would come from steam then i realised it come from the galciv3 game...when i install any game on steam it ok no problem but when i instal gal civ3 after it finish downloading steam shut down and never open again lol the steam bootstrapper (steam.exe)always not responding.. i was able to play the 5.1 before last week but after that nothig so that why i think there a problem with gaciv3 and i want to know if i am the only one or it a general problem... and by the way your game is great guys

I haven't heard of this or seen any support tickets about this. You may want to refresh your Steam files. But I'm unsure how GC3 could break your Steam install.

even that wont work.... after the small window appear(reset configuration)it froze.... that only happen  after i download galciv3 (and it sad because i really really love this game) ive got like 50 game and i try and download each one of them and it still work then i download galciv and it crash and never able to open till i uninstall

You may need to contact Steam about your issue if your Steam install is corrupting or having issues.  Have you run through all the regular things, malware, anti-virus scan, etc?

There is no way to play the game without Steam currently. You could try Offline mode with Steam.
