Just to let you guys know(and I know this isnt a game bug) but when you click on the link from the steam  page talking about the .2 update...that link takes you to a discussion on the .1 update.  Had me confused for a bit, but I was guessing that Lord Frog was just testing me to see if i could figure out what was going on.

Edit 1-Looks like the above link does it as well...im tired though..maybe im just easily confused haha

an early report

I was able to unlock all ideologies even Malevolent which normally I couldn't in just 1 turn.
perhaps because I loaded a 0.81 version saved game but want to be sure if anyone else finds this in a new game

btw the Bloodthirsty bonus where you get Overlord ships next to every planet you own feels overpowered!
So many ships out of thin air.. it took me some time to order all of them!

In my first game on .82 (I started a new game) the first 10 ideology points were correctly deducted with my first pick, and it took two more colonization events to earn the 20 that were required to earn the next ideology pick.  So I think this bug is fixed (which is not to say that there might not be more... )

I'm always going full Benevolent and some Pragmatic...
The Benevolent bonuses are the best in game the planet bonuses, penalties for enemies, influence, as you said make everyone love u! :inlove:
in pragmatic ideology double constructor modules..

A well rounded Despot uses all 3 ideologies!  Keeps the serfs, I mean citizens, on their toes.

Malevolent in early game for Rapid Expansion, extra tiles on first 5 colonies.  Then Benevolent or Pragmatic.

before this bug I couldn't get any Malevolent bonus perhaps if you are very good you can't be evil the same time.

I click mostly Benevolent sometimes Pragmatic and a few Malevolent especially when it's about bugs or worms! }:)
