Stardock Adds Two Popular Apps to the Object Desktop Collection

– Object Desktop users now have access to EdgeRunner’s Multiplicity 3 KM, SpaceMonger –

Plymouth, Michigan – April 7, 2015 – Stardock announced today the addition of two new products to its Object Desktop collection - Multiplicity 3 KM and SpaceMonger 3.0. Multiplicity enables users to control two PCs with only one keyboard and mouse while SpaceMonger quickly frees up storage space on their PCs, shared-network or in the cloud. Users gain access to Multiplicity and SpaceMonger through Object Desktop and its  growing library of Windows enhancements for only $9.99 to start and then $3.99 per month thereafter.

“We’re adding more value to Object Desktop by adding EdgeRunner’s sought after utilities to it while continuing our heritage of creating high-quality Windows customizations that enable users to personalize the look and functionality of their PCs,” said Stardock President and CEO Brad Wardell.

Stardock is currently developing Windows 10 updates for its most popular apps and all-new software that will make applications work better with High-DPI displays, enhance virtual desktop environments, improve Win32-to-Modern-UI unity and more. Those projects will be added to Object Desktop at no additional charge once they are complete.

“Multiplicity and SpaceMonger add tremendous capabilities to the Object Desktop suite. Once you have experienced these applications you will never want to be without them,” said Edgerunner President Jamie McGuffie.  “Multiplicity enables one keyboard and mouse to control two PCs and share a clipboard to move text and images between them without any extra hardware or cables.  SpaceMonger addresses the common problem of running out of storage space by generating treemap graphics which quickly identify where storage space is allocated and provides move/delete functions to immediately recover space. “

Object Desktop with Multiplicity 3 KM and SpaceMonger is available for purchase now. To learn more visit http://www.objectdesktop.com.

This makes me think you're only adding these to Object Desktop Infinite?

I have the regular OD sub and they're both there.

Object Desktop Infinite is the preferred subscription method, that's why it's mentioned. As we've said before, regardless of subscription method the contents are the same.

For some reason, Object Desktop is popping up, offering to "upgrade" my Multiplicity KVM Pro (v3.2) to the obviously downgrade KM version.  Can you guys fix that at your end so that people don't accidentally munge their installations by installing a newer, but gimped version?

Thanks.   :D

I trust ODM about as far as I can toss my computer. It's broken and unreliable. Use it at your own risk.

Wrong version numbers, failure to properly report an applied update, updates that are actually rollbacks, etc. are enough issues for me.

Even Neil Banfield suggests not using ODM for WB updates due to ODM corrupting downloads.

But it's not universal, obviously as others have not had the same experiences...;)

Much like Windows, it's marvelously inconsistent. ;)

That's cool. I assume the basic version of Mutiplicity comes with OD, and the Pro version is extra?

You can upgrade via the Upgrade tab in the latest Object Desktop Manager to KVM and KVM Pro.

ODM is useless. It tells me I'm not subscribed when I am. It has no programs in it, either installed or to upgrade. I have to download from the website.

Complete pants.

Please try one more time. I think I may have fixed what it was. If not, sorry for the trouble.
