Questions on custom races

Has anyone heard the devs say there would be an edit function for the custom races. Invariable I make some error, like a dumb typo, or some trait I want to change. It is a major pain in the ass to delete the entire faction, then try to reproduce it, to fix a typo. The faction files in docs don't appear to be editable.

There are 2 functions on the custom race, delete on the left and copy on the left. Has anyone used copy any what would it be used for?

Haven't found an edit function myself and would love one. That and a way to copy things inside the custom race menu, things like descriptions and the like.

Currently you can make a copy of a race and edit the copy. Then delete the original. The new one would be displayed at the end of the list. Most bottom most right. I hope this helps until they add an edit button.

Thanks, that works and is about as good as an edit feature.
