Request - Auto commands like in GC2

Please, I am begging here.  Can we get the auto-attack commands like they were in GC2.  It is invaluable when managing a huge empire.

I agree--at least an auto attack, if not some more sophisticated options (auto attack within influence/within range of planets).

And they need to be tied to hotkeys. Right now it's very tedious managing a large empire.

thanks for the support guys, I really hope the devs will respond.

I agree and I think the devs will respond. Such things are very helpful in a large empire and I would think they would expand upon the way autoattacks operate.

Also, I would love to see waypoints implemented, where you can send your scout on a circuitous route of the galaxy without having to stop and direct his movements. This is staple feature of RTS games. I don't see why it couldn't be done in a TBS game.

I want auto attack,  but i would like to change a few other features. One of the things i did is build upwards of 20 survey ships that could survey the entire map,  and set them to auto survey. The only problem i saw with this they wouldn't survey the nearest anomaly if one of my other ships further away was headed towards it even if the anomaly was next to the ship. I would like to change this to survey the nearest anomoly even if i have ateady assigned a ship to survey this. The other ship will change course of course.

About sentry or guard that did not like was if a rnrmy ship approached the guarded position the game didn't stop to give me a reason to do this. Maybe i couldn't notice the game showing me my guarded position, because of my dozens of automated ships i will never know,  because of to many ships. What it needs to do is stop right here,  so i will know that i need to do someyhing,  or that their is a ship i should be concerned about. This wouldn't be a concern if i could combine guard with auto attack.

About upgrading i have another option usually i picked the ability to upgrade all my survey ships of a certain module. This usually put me into debt,  because i didn't like the hassle of upgrading each ship. I would like an option to upgrade all ships of a certain class that i can afford.

I would be very surprised if they didn't include at the very least what was in GC2. I think it's considered one of those polishing points that will come toward the end when we're closer to release. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it! :)
