Flexnet connect

cant get it off my PC Help?

I have two copies of 'Flexnet connect' on my PC.  I have no idea how they got there (bundled software I suppose). Revo installer does not even see it.  The company that makes it doesn't have an 'effective' way to remove it.  I've been to major geeks, Tom;s hardware, etc.  Not found a solution. Anyone dealt with this and found an effective means to rid my PC of this 'resource.'  I will be very grateful.

PC, i7 win7 home.

Have you tried CCleaner?

I can suggest 2 programs to try.  First one is Unlocker 1.9.2 which is free http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/. it looks for a program - to which the program your try to delete is attached to. it will kill the process and then delete. in extreme cases as Flexnet it should delete the program upon a reboot. if it is still there after reboot there can be other files loaded on your computer to regenerate it. I usually look in my App data folder local (temp) and roaming, or in program data. look also in your start up menu for a run once program that keeps reappearing after deleting it.

the next one is "CleanMyPC registry Cleaner." it is not free and it is for the experienced who know there way around a computer. If there is anything on your computer that is suspect this program will find it. the editor is time consuming and manual. you'll have to go through every thing it brings up and check off those items that are relevant.  http://www.registry-cleaner.net/

Good Luck!!!

Thank you all.  ccleaner did not 'see' flexnet connector - nor did revo uninstaller.  Will try docs uninstaller,,, then mal if necessary.  Having read the info form the Moshi's link - seems its intended to make sure i'm using licensed versions of client programs... I don't have nay of the ones listed.. so is strange I end up with two copies of floe on my system...  Ummm.   Thank you all...

EDIT

Ran the uninstaller Doc posted link to... it removed one copy of flexnet connect... ran the uninstall several more times...left second flex intact.  msconfig shoes it as present - I just disabled it from starting up when PPC turned on.  that 1/2    thanks again, all

edit

I could not get the second copy off - found it linked to my rosetta stone program - which I use -so guess I'm stuck with it until i',m done with rosetta.  Again, thanks all.... :)
