Will GC III play (well) on Windows 10?

From all I am reading there should be no problem running Gal Civ III on Windows 10 (64bit). I currently use Win 7 Pro 64bit. I will take advantage of upgrading to Win 10 when Micro$oft offers the free upgrade.

 

Do we have an official word regarding GC III and support for Windows 10 from our Developers?

I would also like to hear what ever encouragement we can get from the Devs about Win10, but I think it is a bit early for any real assessment by the SD devs concerning Win10, seeing as Win10 will not be released until sometime this summer. Even if they had a Beta version of Win10, the final release could be somewhat different.

I am pretty sure, (absolutely sure) that Brad is  playing/testing Ashes on Windows 10.

A dev posted on the Steam forums (somewhere on there, don't remember the topic) that GC3 does not currently support Windows 10 and will not until Windows 10 is officially released.

At the end of the day I doubt that SD will have to do much to make GCIII compatible. It is more on MS head imo.
