Multiple monitors desktop layout

Hello team,

I have this problem with Fences and I cannot find any settings that fix it.

Setup:

Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Dual Monitor setup using Extended Monitor Configuration
Fences: 2.13

Problem:

When using Fences, the dual monitor becomes a giant desktop. It does not respect which is my main monitor.

Example, I have my main monitor on the right (External Monitor) and the laptop monitor is secondary on the left.

If I download a file, or create a desktop shortcut it is moved to the first available empty spot in the left monitor like if the desktop starts there. No matter what I setup on Fences, it does the same thing.

I have tried setting the "Preserve my desktop layout on per screen basis" but it does not respect that.

My theory is by looking at the snapshots I am able to see that it actually believes that "extended monitor" is actually a big desktop.

My question:

Is there any way that I can make fences to really behave on a per screen basis even if I have an extended monitor?

I would like to get all my new stuff in my main monitor and not the secondary.

Can you check your display settings to make sure the monitor you want as primary, is the primary?

If it is, please check your regedit.exe if you're comfortable with it, to see if Fences has your PrimaryMonitorLast set to your actual primary:

Thank you!

That was it. Fences got stuck somehow with the wrong main monitor.

Problem solved after that.
