Altarians conquer earth..

Ooo. That's a nifty update!  Hopefully there will new art/scenes for each of the core races :-)  I want to see Terran flags and banners on Drengi buildings!

Yes, but those are definitely terran battleships on the sky and not altarian ships.

Those are Terran ships. Perhaps captured ships?

Maybe Earth willingly joined Alt as a protectorate for certain benefits.

On that note maybe it is not Earth that starts the next war but the returning Earth ship with all the new weapons.

 

Even so, if you're an altarian that just took over the earth and you need a fleet selfie for promo reasons, you use *your* ships, not the ones from the slave race you just conquered!

Maybe the Terran Ships will be blown up to celebrate with BIG fireworks?

Has anyone else noticed that in the top left corner it says Off World Trading Company?

Also, I noticed that Stardock has a very old school way of seeing future Earth, with that Space Needle like tower in the background. I didn't see scenes like that for a looong time. This is refreshing, after years of seeing futuristic cities in the style of Halo or Mass Effect.

Either we are being egged on or being made to think of how the story may go.

The story will go as follows.

Human Crusade launched from an alternate universe.
Dregin and Yor on the defensive. 
Tholian Interfere predicting a human rapid expansion, sowing doubt between the two human factions.
Real humans expand and protectively guard their borders with the alternate race.
Human crusade tries to subdue real humans.
SNATHI
Everyone dies.
