Suggestions: glass, fuel, aluminium

1. Remove glass from robotics electronics factory.

2. Make alternative fuel source, that does not rely on water. May be geothermal-based fuel extractor?

3. Power plant: fuel -> electricity.

4. Fifth HQ type, that does not require aluminium for HQ upgrades and buildings. Y-shape of HQ.

Interesting ideas!

As for a 5th colony type, I want to make sure the 4 are different enough and fun enough before we start adding another one!

In another post, I suggested maybe taking fuel out of chemical requirements for Robotics, substituting something else.  I forgot about oxygen and glass.  I agree that its annoying to be Robotic and still have so many reasons to need water, but I'm not sure about a balance yet.

I'm not a top tier player, but I feel like playing the robots is the most linear: go offworld asap. If you spend any resources getting water or getting sucked into another resource tree and it's tough to win. You have to get lucky with glass too, because if it gets too expensive you can get hosed.

If they avoid the water line, that excludes them from the patent and engineering labs, unless they want to buy that too.  Rather than giving them chemicals without fuel as I had originally thought, maybe they have to use a different resource in the patent/engineering lab, so that they don't need chemicals for tech.  Electronics comes to mind.
