[solved] Object Desktop Manager not showing Managed nor Installed apps

Object Desktop Manager is not showing the Managed nor the Installed apps on my computer.  My subscription is up to date.  I've refreshed countless times and I've also uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled ODM.  Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to use the Stardock Store.

https://store.stardock.com/

Just click on My Account and log-in. Everything is there. download your programs, time left on your subscriptions and your serial number.

ChicagoRican - I've gone ahead and refreshed your account. Try logging out and back in now and see if it shows up properly.

I've actually got the same issue; ODM shows my status as "Not Subscribed," but the website (and my account page) show that I've got another 50+ days.

Is there a more general solution to the issue?

Elvenshae - Have you tried logging out and back in now and see if it shows up properly.

I am having same problem, tried reboot, logout of ODM and back in, refresh, etc. Have been having a problem with the taskbar (I use Start8) freezing for long periods of time (close to 1 minute) and when it happens the icon to the right of the button (or the first icon to the left on the secondary monitor is blinking around the edges (subtle). Was going to uninstall everything to see if this might be interfering with a new windows update or something the reinstall (if there were not updates) but I cannot seem to do anything with ODM.

Thanks

Try one more time, I refreshed your account.

For your taskbar, can you post a screenshot of what's happening? Do you have the latest Start8 v1.50?

Account refresh worked. Looks like if you have dual monitors and you run tasbars on both and you choose the option to only show the apps on the screen the are on. It causes this problem (for me anyway). I chose the option to show apps on both taskbars and I have not had that problem since. I do have problems with the primary taskbar (primary monitor) disappearing from time to time. I can still hit the Windows key and show the start menu on it but the taskbar is below the bottom of the screen. If I move my mouse to the bottom of the screen, it turns into the verticle arrows like I can size it back up but nothing will move. I have to kill explorer and start new explorer task to get it back. Not a huge deal since thanks to start8 I can show the start menu on both screens. This could be a Windows 8.1 bug as well because I have only noticed this over the last 2-3 weeks and I have had all the stardock stuff installed since January.

Thanks for you help.

Had the same problem (with Object Desktop Manager) and logging out/back in did the trick for me.

Thanks!

I have the same problem. Have downloaded multiple times. When installed and run, it shows no items and not subscribed. Could I have stopped a critical service maybe?

I am having the same problem.  I open object desktop manager and nothing listed in manage or install.  I can see my subscription is still good to march of 2016, but logging out and back in does not work for me.  It was strange because for a couple weeks I received messages about my account getting ready to expire.  I thought those emails were in error because I had just renewed in March of 2015.  I am wondering if there wasn't a glitch and that bumped my subscription out.  If I could get a refresh it would be greatly appreciated.  I can still see everything if I log in to my account, just not in the desktop manager which I prefer to use.  I do not know if it matters, but my object desktop manager version is 3.33.  Thanks for any assistance you can give.

Hi Gear

I have possibly the same problem.  Among other things, Fences are not available in ODM.  Could you please refresh my account too?

Thanks.

I am having the EXACT same problem. Does Object Desktop Manager work under Windows 10 apart from the obvious programs that it offers which some aren't compatible?

You should be all set now, sorry for the confusion. Make sure to log out of ODM and back into it. Also ODM does work on Win10.

I have 315 days left on my account but it won't show anything on my computer.

I am having the same problem. Object Desktop Manager does not list installed programs.  Tried uninstalling/installing, logging in/out, etc.  nothing worked

I'd recommend you simply not use Object Desktop Manager in that event.  It's not necessary to access your applications - you can do so directly on your Stardock Store My Account page (https://store.stardock.com).  You must have an account in order to purchase from Stardock so you just need to log in with the credentials you used to create it and you have access to everything you've ever purchased in the My Downloads link on the My Account page.

When it works reliably, ODM is a convenient way to manage the SD apps but for some it just doesn't.  The Stardock Store, on the other hand, is pretty much bulletproof.
