Really excited to try this game!

I just wanted to say that I'm really excited for this game. I've been a big Ensemble fan for most of my life (my father raised me on strategy games, and Age of Empires was one of my favorites) and I think that getting a game like this out there for a new studio with this kind of experience is great. I'm sure I'm not the only person that thought "Look! A modern Metal Fatigue!" when they watched this video, but I really like that your characters progress along with you throughout all gameplay modes. Which brings me to my only question: Is there a single player skirmish mode/practice mode? I'll be the first to admit, I'm a little slow when coming up with strategies, and it'd be really nice if I could practice on my own before losing a bunch in multiplayer. I understand that I get rewards for losing, but still, I'd like to be able to play without being judged while I figure out what I'm doing with my servos. I got a lot better at Starcraft 2 when a friend suggested I do that, and so now I spend a lot of times with games doing single player content to improve my skills.

I've preordered your game, and I'm really looking forward to spending a lot of time in it!

Hello there, thanks for pre-ordering.  :)

Your question about skirmish/practice mode is a good one.  Pretty early on we were wanting a way to test out different Servo builds/combos so there is a very basic practice level in the game now - stay tuned for more details.

Any news on when pre-orderers get to play the alpha?

This game looks fun and is exactly the thing me and a friend have been waiting for.

No date on when the F&F alpha will be starting yet...when there is we'll certainly do our best to let everyone know.

Definitely going to be a good game to play with a friend! :)
