Looks good, although I miss the spell book stacking. I think there is a charm picking books and placing them on your shelf.

BTW can someone tell me, what do Chaos and Wrath spell books? Is there a theme or common word for the spells in either of these books.

I assume that summoning books allows you to summon units and also buff your summonings in different ways, while the enchant books contains enchancements for cities, units etc. Please correct me, if I am wrong.

Did the commander get a neck? :)

Have to agree that a little throwback to spell books on the shelf ala MOM would be easy to fit in that box.  You could have a popup appear when you mouse over them or summarize in smaller text below.

Or what would be even cooler would be an interactive portrait that has the Sov up front, spell book shelves over one shoulder and either a window behind or a scrying pool/crystal ball/palantir in front of the sov showing the starting party in battle or just heading out on the adventure.  Here is a pic from a quick google search to give you an idea of what I mean:

Wrath = Damage (using big Mana to inflict big Pain)

Chaos = Debuffs (spells that use less mana to enchant the enemy in strange, sometimes random, ways)

Of course this is just a general rule - you'll find some friendly enchantment spells in wrath and damage dealing spells in Chaos, but 90% of spells follow those rules as a guideline.

Brad, you guys closer to knowing when this will drop?

What about a 1.0 release date, too?

Currently they are busy with GDC, and then it will probably be 1-2 weeks for the last details for beta 5 including testing etc.

Bit late to the party but just wanted to say that art is awesome!

Would like to know who is responsible for it?

When your competition is Amplitude studios you've really go to bring your 'A' game.

Nice to see Stardock stepping up to the plate.    This looks awesome.

I love me a polished game.
