Windows Key Shows Start8 Unless in Tablet Mode

Backwards?

It seems that my start8 has gotten the option backwards from what I'd expect. When I'm at my desktop and press the windows key up comes the Windows 8 start menu (metro ui). When I'm in a MetroUI App and press the windows key I get the Start8 Button with this option selected.

Anyone else see this?

Are you sure you have not just set the settings incorrectly in Start8?

I should mention that unless your tablet manufacturer has correctly installed drivers (many of them have not), the option for docked and tablet mode will not function in the way you expect as the OS defaults are not what you would imagine they would be.

Complete misundertanding there.

It seems my tablet is always in tablet mode then. I realized how to set the way I want it now.
