Very Easy Way To Create Dreams

animating still pictures

Many people want to create their own dreams  .... and especially with their own pictures !! So I just thought of sharing the link of this software called DP Animation Maker  which allows you to animate still pictures with just a few clicks. It's very easy to use as you just have to press and drag your mouse over the part of the picture which you want to animate and it creates an animated mask for that certain portion .... export uncompressed AVI for full quality which can be converted to WMV with any video converter to use with deskscapes. I've used it for few of my dreams and found it quite easy but for skinners it'll just do the amount of work a plugin does so I personally recommend and do most of my dreams in adobe after effects .

Other details with interesting examples and information of this program can be found here . So enjoy animating your still pictures ...

Thanks in advance ... comments are welcome

Nice Post Amit ..   ..... I use DP Animation Maker for some Dreams too ...

Dream Looping :

another option here for those of you who don't have or can't afford " AE "

is to take your DP video using Windows Movie Maker ( free program for crossfades ) and split the video in the middle using

it's crossfade option ( .25 - 2.00 setting 1.50) for most video's in the second half then save it as an MP4 video.

Now convert that video to an AVI or WMV video to make your dream file , using a good video program

I use Pinnacle Studio 17 Ultimate or now ver. 18 (Loops): http://www.pinnaclesys.com/publicsite/us/products/studio/ultimate/

or Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum (longer crossfades and Best Colors): http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/moviestudiope

Desktop Paints (jpeg animations)(also saves as AVI or WMV): http://www.desktoppaints.com/lists.php?page=products

all good programs

or a Free program like Format Factory : http://download.cnet.com/FormatFactory/3000-2194_4-10968547.html

is good for reducing video file size ..

All of these programs work well with Windows 8/8.1

With any or all of these programs practice makes perfect , including AE , so give it a try play around with it for awhile

and in no time you will be able to make nicely looped dreams ..

Cheers AzDude ..

good point there on how to loop dreams   B)

PS .. to looping

DP ( Desktop Paints ) Animation will make a good loop if saved as a WMV file ,

but WMV dreams use almost twice the CPU usage as AVI dreams  ..

Also on some projects WMV dreams will take away some color sharpness

best Colors will be with AVI Dreams .

WMV file size will be very small though compared to AVI file size much larger ..

Dream file size limit is 150 Mb's

SWF file size limit is 2 Mb's - for video previews ..

So something to consider ..

another looping note , video's that are panning are hard to get a smooth loop brcause

you get a jump when the pan re-starts - and if you try to cross fade a panning clip you

get a blur at the crossfade .. so more stuff to take note off when trying for a clean smooth loop ..

With a panning video best to attach a second video to it to get the best loop ...

Cheers , AzDude
