When I (A) own stock in Company (B) who gets bought by Company (C) how much do I get per share

I have had a number of instances where this doesn't feel right in game, especially if the AI purchases the firm I have shares in.

 

Is there a place where we can see more insight on share price and buyout mechanics, or anyone that can explain?

at any moment every company has a share value,all the numbers in the top right, one for each player.

everything after the comma is ignored.

 

for each one of 10 total shares a bought out player gets 2x that number in thousand moneys.

 

the share value falls if

- you are higher in depth

- the resources that you have are not worth much.

- anyone sells shares they owned of you.

- you do not have many patents/technologies.

and it raises for the opposite causes.
