Let's organize some team games

Last night a group of us were talking about trying out some team games, but the consensus was that you'd probably want some voice chat solution to coordinate that.  Which means that, given how small the community is, we'd probably have to do some upfront planning.

But team games sound like a lot of fun, so it's probably worth doing that planning.  And perhaps this is the thread to do it in.

So if you're interested in trying some team games, chime in here.

I figure that the easiest thing to do would be to share Skype names or something, but if there was a preponderance of people with TeamSpeak (or something), maybe it'd be worth setting up our own server.  But before that, we should gauge interest, and then we should talk about whether something like Skype is good enough (or Google hangouts or whatever), and then we can share some contact info around and see if we can get something organized.

I don't know if we've got time to get everything worked out by tonight, but it'd be awesome to get some team action going this weekend.

Ive tried a few random team games, and yea its really hard to coordinate, especially because as far as we can tell, there is no Team Chat option, chat always goes to all players.

So yea, Id be down for some team games, Skype is preferred, lmk :)

+1 for a team chat option or even whisper to a specific player would be great.

Well, while we are at it, we might as well suggest that an in game voice chat system option something might not be a bad idea.

I like the idea, also +1 for skype, me and Pb already chat over skype when we play together, more fun that way when you hear the other people screaming of desperation as you send the black armies against him or buy his stock ... also a skype chat group where we could just shout out when anyone wants to make a game and then organise a voice chat would be awsome aswell. Add me on steam if your interested - Eesti orav

Also one more + for team games, is that in a free for all 4 player you should have 25% win chance, in 2 vs. 2 it should be 50 %, meaning more winning :D

I've set up a shared Google Spreadsheet for people who want to throw in their Skype information and timezone stuff.  Hopefully we can get something organized!

And people should feel free to share that around with interested parties who are not spammers.

You forgot all about me already? :'(

If anybody is interested I hosted a teamspeak3 server. I got a dedicated server for my hosting stuff and the teamspeak on there is always empty.
