User interface improvements:

Ways to make information easier to gauge for profitability

To the dev team.

My brain doesn't like numbers, it likes colors and graphs and loading bars.

What I am referring to of course is the information on the left of my screen. I like how the buildings are next to their corresponding resources. I am a little worried that unless there is a difference in the amount of digits, 10 looks no different to 70 and 100 no different to 700. That being a very specific example, I'm sure many people would find it difficult to gauge whether a particular resource was of immediate benefit to buy or sell.

If there were graphical indicators as to a resource's current stock/value, I would find it much easier to decide what to do. At the moment, although the numbers are easy to read, I'm not making much sense of them even though I consider myself mathematically minded.

people discard games like wrapping paper these days and I think these improvements would decrease the learning curve and increase the enjoyability of the game. unless white text mathematical and accounting mastery is a necessary attribute of your intended audience.

Kind regards,

A fellow dev.

I like this idea.  Helping the player see hot buys or sells is a good idea, and tempering or accentuating based on inventory levels to boot.
