You read it. Having everyone set themselves to CEO difficulty actually creates a different game, it's so much more interesting.

After having tried it, it's hard to go back to manager, so much more dynamic, and every debt you take is just that much harsher.

 

Debt penalty increased from 3x (Manager) to 7x. 40-60% (?) less resource gains. 50% increased cost for buildings (steel type material only? not sure...)


It's great fun, and very harsh!

Yeah I just played a few matches with you in all CEO, it was fun. But when I went back to manager I did so much better. First day playing

problem with CEO difficulty is... early pirates, some bad luck, or just bad players can kill one pretty fast (=increasing his debt to unmanageable amounts) and then its no more a matter of cash to buy him out, but a matter of the ping. Whoever gets him has pretty much won since the extra claims are worth sooo much more

 

good side is... youll probably never see a off world trading xD

Actually pirates would be much less of a problem compared to the other blackmarket strategies. Since all resources are scarce, you dont want to use fuel to get an important resource, you want that right next to your HQ.

Also you might consider to play the game on no auctions and no new resources, (no black market? Since offworlds aren't a problem, this would also prevent claim buying). I do believe that even though you do incur a terrible debt, the new claims will be well worth it, just because claims are the most scarce resource of all.

if you turn all interaction with other players off you could just play vs AI  :P
