I paid for the early access through the site but before the Steam's early access.
How am I supposed to download or link my purchase to my Steam account?
What's the process of getting my steam key for this game?
Probably a dumb question. 
sign into stardock.com, go to Account and Downloads. Your key should be there.
Not there.
However, I use a different e-mail account for my paypal and on a lark, I went to the site and did a password reset on that account, logged in and there it is.
Not sure why there's an account based on that address, but thank you kindly.
I've seen other people complaining about the sign in being wrong, when they used paypal, with a different email address. I don't know what's going on there, but I'm glad you were able to resolve it.
I think it may have to do with an account I created on Stardock.com many years ago and forgot about. Then later didn't recall that I had made an account and used a different email address to create my now "main" account.
When I purchased it via the website, it automagically used my paypal account which is technically in their system as a valid user.
May or may not be that but that's the excuse I'm giving them.
