Extremely extraordinarily frustrated

The campaign is killing me to the point of rage quitting. I am monitoring the company I am playing against. Last game, which is very typical of all of my games, they have like 1-3k in cash with 5-9k in debt. I have more resources than them, but can't afford to start buying their stock yet. Then my stock starts getting bought. 1 share, two share, then I'm completely bought out in one fell swoop, when it looks like they would need 20-30k to buy me, and they just don't seem to have it. I don't get it. Even worse there is nothing I can do to stop or prevent it. I guess I'm just horrible at the game, but I don't see how it's happening.

Soren added a fix that will delay the AI buying players stock. That should be in the next update. As for the visibility of "oh man, how'd they get that money", that's something we're working on. (It won't be in the next update, but we're working on it.)

Thanks!

I appreciate you answering me so quickly! If I could just see where the money is coming from it would make the game so much better for me. Some of the times I've been bought out I thought I was winning and I thought the AI company couldn't have enough cash to buy me, and then I get the pink screen of death.

This is likely the loss condition that only happens in the campaign - if the colony drops to a population of zero, EVERYONE loses. I think the loss screen is the same, so people are assuming they are being bought out, but they are Instead losing from a dead colony.

Soren, if that's what's happening then that would solve most of my frustrations because I'll just take better care of the colony. Though a red Mars colony shuttered screen of death would be good.

We'll get a dead colony screen! :)

I'm looking forward to it.
