To get info on a tile you have to "hover over" it for a moment with the mouse cursor.

     1.) Why in the world can I not get this same info by clicking on the tile, and not be forced into a delay? 

It's an odd approach when the rest of the game is immediately responsive.

     2.) Also when placing a building it would be helpful if the other matching buildings became highlighted for even quicker placement optimization.
