Hello folks, I won't be making a habit of promoting videos quite so shamelessly but I'm absolutely loving Offworld so far, and 3 games in am still looking to become anything more than hopeless. If you want to see a couple of rookies utterly fail to keep pace with the AI, please step this way...

Any tactical feedback is welcome, however the big question - if I place my initial base on a resource do I grab it automatically?

You get a one time bonus from the tiles with resources you found on.

You get resources based on the resources you found on top on. If you hover over the resources before founding, it shows how much you'll get if you found in a location.
