average play time?

I'm just curious, because this game looks interesting. But for how long do a game last on average?  Is it intended to be short games less than 60 minutes? I'm a single player only! I like games that lasts for a long time with a lot of gameplay content. Grand strategy game and 4X are preferred. 

I like Galciv3 and Sorcerer King - lots of gameplay and it takes hours to finish.

Is this a game for me?

Soren's working on a dynamic campaign that is currently in the game. Most of the on-map skirmishes last about 30 minutes or so if you play at a normal speed. Soren's AI is quite crafty so I think there's a lot of fun to be had challenging yourself against it right now.
