Multiplayer continuation when Host drops off or gets bought out

Two multiplayer games in, we are noticing when the Host of the game is bought out the game freezes shortly after. Unknown whether it is due to player dropping off or a bug so adding it here.

I think this happened in a game with WLDSPIRIT where I was the host and was bought out (after an EXTREMELY poor showing).  It happened in a different game to me as well, not as the host.

I think currently the host has to stay in the game until the end. A means of transferring hosting duties to another peer should be implemented :)

We think the issue is that hosts are killing their processes, which halts the game for everyone else. (We removed the EXIT button for hosts of active games, but - since we aren't explaining it - people are probably just ALT-F4'ing). Your comment is the only one I've seen that suggests the game is freezing even if the host doesn't quit. Can you confirm that you didn't exit out of the game?

Host migration is on our priority list, btw.

The one I hosted that I remember WLDSPIRIT being in I did kill the process, yes.  It was my last one for the night.
