Crashes - Where to send dump file? - Why no save option mid game?!

I am surprised the game is crashing, never saw any crashes during your stream, but alas, I have had 2 crashes tonight, and 1 freeze up. This most recent one was near the end of a 40+ minute game - was just getting interesting :(

Leads me to wonder, why can we not save midgame? I've been called away from PC a few times tonight, and just had to leave the game running as I could not save.

I'm very sorry you're experiencing crashing.

We're currently working on saved games and hope to get them in the near future.

I will contact Jason tomorrow (or later this morning I guess) and ask him where he wants people to send dump files.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks, i'll send once I know where.

I was pretty annoyed last night - after losing two games to crashes - my wife go to hear all about my frustration. But a good night sleep, I am over it. Hopefully the save game options comes quickly.

I paused the game at one point while my daughter was on my lap and she reached out and hit the windows key. Didnt think much of it, just went to desktop, but when I alt tabbed back into the game later, I had been terminated lol - guess she hit the space bar too and unpaused my game!

Until we find a more automatic solution, can you post your output_log?

How to find output_log.txt:

  1. Open your Steam Library

  2. Right-click Offworld Trading Company

  3. Click Properties->Local Files->Browse Local Files…

  4. Post Offworld_Data/output_log.txt

Thanks.
