No menu on Mac

Having just installed the Early Access from Steam on Mac OS X Yosemite, I can't get any further than the following screen which has no menu displayed:

Any ideas?

What kind of hardware is it?

We've had some issues with Coherent rendering with certain videocards on PC, but we turned on software rendering to work around that. This is the first we've seen of the issue on Mac.

Any information you could give us would be great. Thank you!

What happens if you run windowed?

Can you attach your Player.log?

You can find it under your user's folder ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

The Library folder is hidden by default, so you may need to right-click in Finder and enable that folder visibility.

Thanks for the replies guys. Here's my Player.log: https://gist.github.com/nefarioustim/0dd6d09b0ef556a32ddc

I have two Macs I can try it out on. The above was on my MacBook Air (which is the newer machine and therefore what I thought might be most capable):

1.7 GHz Intel Core i7

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

I also have an older MacBook Pro I can try it out on tomorrow, but that has less memory and an older graphics chip, despite having a faster CPU. Will see how that fares.

This issue arose for me when I lowered the game's resolution when it was full-screened. The menu disappeared and wouldn't reappear (in full-screen) when the game was restarted and even reinstalled. However, after reading ZubaZ's comment above, I switched the game into windowed mode and the menu UI reappeared.

And anecdotally, OTC runs smoothly on low settings on a current-gen maxed-out MacBook Pro.

Windowed mode does indeed seem to fix the problem. Bit annoying though. :/

Thanks for the help guys.

Please help me guys...The game is ruined for me. I have no menu so I can't play, I can't do anything...How did you manage to switch to windowed without having the settings menu? I tried CMD + Enter, but that didn't work.

Easiest method: If you move the mouse cursor up to the top of the screen, you should see the standard Mac menu bar drop down. Click the "Window > Fullscreen" option and it'll toggle back to windowed mode.

Alternatively, try Cmd+Ctrl+F which is the usual shortcut for toggling full screen in Yosemite.

For anyone else experiencing this issue on a Mac, you can visit the folder below to manually delete your options file and it will generate a new one upon the next launch:

/Users/mobile/Library/Application Support/unity.MohawkGames.Offworld

I have the same issue on windows: where can I fid the settings file?

edit: I found out that I don't have this issue with direct x 9. Odd because earlier todat it was working fine in the normal mode.

This issue has been compounded since the update:

You've now removed the options for particular screen sizes which means, at 1440 x 900 in windowed mode, the bottom of the game screen is pushed off the bottom of the screen, making the black market et al unusable. The only way around this is to flick back to full screen mode once you have navigated the menu screens into the actual game.
