Dream files invoking Active Movie Window

Beginning a few minutes ago, when I double-cick on a dream file, in addition to changing my desktop background an Active Movie Window opens displaying the same animation.  Deskscape configuration opens the same window but does not change the desktop animation.

Anyone else getting this or know how to turn it off?  My google search has revealed nothing useful.

Make certain you haven't inadvertently set the movie player as default for Dreams?

And just as quickly as it started, the problem ha gone away.  No reboot, just tried several times to change dreams and suddenly the ActiveMovie Window stopped appearing.
