So, I preordered, and I wonder how the game will actually be delivered. I will be looking for it expectantly. Will it be a steam key by email, or do we need to sign into Stardock to get it? I can't see it being actually through steam as mentioned on the pre-order webpage, because I didn't enter any steam credentials.
If you ordered through Stardock store you will get a key for Steam.
Your key should appear on your store downloads page once it is available. You should get an email too, but it can take a while for them to all go out after the announcement so the store page is the quickest way if you're raring to play.
I bought Galactic Civilization III and Offworld Trading Company Founder Edition back in the fall of 2014, but there is no Order History and neither game shows up in the store downloads page.
What do I do?
Make sure you are logged in with the correct email/account, and if you are, contact [email protected] and they should be able to help. If you still have the receipt email make sure to reference that.
Raring? I took a vacation day that day (well, I had to use it soon anyway)... for an early access game... that I preordered. What is wrong with me?!?
Trojan64 - Unfortunately I didn't find GC3 or OTC under your account under that username. Did you use another email address when ordering? It's quite possible they are under that email address. You should have a receipt for it under that email.
That is the weird thing, I cannot find an email receipt. This is so strange, because I know I bought GC3 and OTC together and registered GC3 to Steam right away. I remember because I was super excited that GC3 was finally 50% and decided to add on OTC for an extra $20.
I changed my password a couple of times in between, could that have anything to do with it?
It is strange I cannot find the email and it is double strange that my account name has no record of it.

I think I might be in a similar boat. I pre-ordered but the confirmation reciept email was sent to my PayPal email account and my Stardock account (different email) shows no mention of OTC; shows the other games I've bought tho (Fallen Ench., Sins etc.).

When will it change from coming soon on the dowloads page? If the steam buyers get it earlier I wil not be a happy martian.

In another thread, it was stated around 1:00, which for my time zone will be right when the countdown timer is done, so it shouldn't be too long after release, if not right to the minute.
Just got my key and activated via steam correctly.
Unfortunately, I cannot see it in my library, and there is no store page for the game either.
Do I need to wait for the countdown to end (1 hour) before being able to download?
