Windows Shut down button disappeared.

I have Windows 8.1 and Start8 1.47v.  Using the Windows 7 skin, everything was working well.  Now my Windows button changed to a clear figure and now switches between the desktop and Windows 8.  This is my wife's computer and she need to get the start menu and more importantly the shut down but on it back.

How do I do this?
