I shall wait a bit.  O:)

I went to Stardock/My Account, there were two options, version 8.06.0 or 8.09.0(Beta).  I downloaded the beta and rebooted, it shows as loaded.

I am running Skype and it did fix the dropdown menu problem.

When trying to update WB (installed fine)  and WFX and Deskcapes through Object Manager, I'm asked for my serial code and e-mail.

Click, and I get an error code 202 telling me activation cannot continue.

I have also tried downloading from my account downloads with the same results.

Thank God for system restore.

Downloaded and Installed, still reads 8.06

If that happens it means the update did not work.  Uninstall, reboot and reinstall.

Update downloaded and installed fine, still will not play nice with Firefox. If I select an Aero skin within WindowBlinds all works well, non windows skins don't.

I've been running WB7, but figured I'd try this one to fix the firefox titlebar thing, but when I try to install, it complains that WB 7 is still installed (I have done the uninstall and reboot, but it still complains). Figured it might be something with the beta, so tried 8.06, same issue.

Probably need to pester support, but figured I'd first check if anyone else has had and fixed this issue. :)

What graphics card do you have, and do you have a custom firefox theme installed?

This beta version still have the same problem.

firefox 34.0.5 crash immediately at startup.
I've narrowed it down to the addon : Anti-Aliasing Tuner 14.12.03.01.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/anti-aliasing-tuner/
Which is the latest version for the addon.

When exluding firefox in WindowBlinds firefox works again.
If disable the addonon , it also works.

With earlier Windowblinds version this didn't happen

Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT, not a card issue. I reset Firefox to defaults again and now all is well. No custom Firefox them was in use. Go figure?

Downloaded and installed as well. The title-bar issue seems to be fixed.

Although, with some skins, Windows explorer isn't displaying properly. I'm sure that has more to do with the individual skin than WB, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Also, my system start up time seems to have increase a bit.

You certain it is 202 and not 212?  If it is the latter, go to:

C:\ProgramData\Stardock

Delete the WindowBlinds folder and try again...

That worked. Thank you;-)

I just did the same with Deskscapes and Windows FX and now everything is updated. YEA!

Thanks again.

Does this beta version further improve the hidpi support introduced in v8.09? I'm thinking about buying WindowBlinds but there are still some issues with hidpi support in v8.09 (it's much better than 8.06 though).

I can't test it because I'm not a customer (yet), so an answer would be very much appreciated.
