Balancing /Game play thoughts

 Beta 3.1

Dwarven Mage: Only one spell for a mage? Albeit a very good one, a mage should know more than one.

Cleansing/reclaiming land tiles: I don’t recall the spell names because I only saw them once in many hours of assorted play.  In many of my games the SK settled and corrupted all/most available sites leaving me no way to make new cities.  Tile cleansing spells need to be made more available to all sovereigns.

Periden Crusader: Very powerful and I LOVE him.  Twice he joined my ranks very early in the game which made him a one man unstoppable wreaking ball.  I don’t want to nerf him but he should only show up mid-late game.

Need a way to dismiss my units.

Scout Movement: Should receive less of a terrain penalty. He’s supposed to be able to  able to run away from fights but its too easy to get him trapped areas with movement penalties.

Outposts: Have never seen the SK attack an outpost, making defensive upgrades moot. (bug?)

Add a Building/Training queue : Even if it’s only a training queue,  building several units when your production level pumps out 1/turn is unassay &annoying micromanagement.

Paper Map: Like it but it is a bit hard to read/ grasp the state of the world.  A little splash of color (subdued vs bright/over powering)  would really help.  Water – blue,  my AOC lt. green, SK’s AOC - reddish; other kingdoms  AOC – 2 color fade based on alliance leaning ,  etc.

Great feedback. I agree on all of these (except the queue, I think the answer here is to encourage players to build higher end units or reduce how much cities can be built up in terms of production).  Though on the paper map, we're still working to try to only colorize things that matter.

Thanks,  i know much is still evolving and believe its going form good to great!

Understand the the thought on queuing,  my main gripe is when i need to pump out several pioneers in a row to reinforce an outpost or claim a few areas quickly (settle, build outpost, upgrade..)  Or, i want 2 or 3 archers to station in the city.  It is just a pain to rinse, spit and REPEAT.
