Tactical LOS

Well I never thought Id say it, but this game could really use tactical LOS.  I was never interested in it personally.... but after playing with the new Battlegrounds DLC, some of the tactical maps are really nice, some interesting layouts..... except that there some walls and other barriers that archers can shoot straight through.

It just seems a bit silly, but beside that.... the maps are so cool, if you just had the some of the walls etc blocking LOS for archers (and missile type spells) it would really add something to tactical combat.  Yes yes I know, it's a strategically focus game not tactical (which is great imo) but just this one thing would be a great I think. 

It'd open up some cool map possibilities for city battles too.

For 2.0 maybe?

I was just looking at this post the other day and saw that Frogboy had mentioned that tactical LOS might be a possibilty somewhere down the road.  Of course, he said this over two years ago.

Yeah agreed that would have to be included for sure.

The start point would be to get the AI to think about moving and then taking an action, so it would for example consider moving (to open up LOS) before shooting.  Not sure it does that very well at the minute.  Get Rush working better, use it to get in position for an Impale etc.... ah we can hope.
