where to buy Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity? dont want DRM!

I would like to know where should I buy the game to get a DRM-free version of Sins of a Solar Empire, because I have read in the forums that there is one, isnt there? But I dont know where should I buy the game, in stardock store or steam store.

Trinity requires registering the game to your Stardock account (same one you just made for the forum) on first run regardless of where you buy it online, but that's it. There is no third party resident app or online requirement. So if you buy it via Steam or get a Steam key, Steam is only used to download it.
