Races have a racial memory to the player which will affect all cities of said race, regardless of ownership. A city may actually revolt because of your actions towards that race. They may even help you conquer a city. The concept of racial experience is introduced.

I was initially disappointed by the game, but after patching the game has grown on me. Its a pretty good game, and more stuff will help even more

Yes!! The next DLC for Age of wonders 3 is getting even more stuff in it! Not only the Necromancer class and frostlings but also:
