"Logonstudio has encountered a problem and needs to close"???

I have been trying to use LogonStudio XP, but when I launch it, it says that it "has encountered a problem and needs to close". I have been trying to find a solution on the internet for the problem, but to no avail. My .NET Framework version is 4.0. Can anyone help me?

I assume you're trying to run it on XP, correct?  I don't believe it will run on Vista, 7, or 8.  I also think it may not run on XP Pro 64bit, but I don't remember for sure.

If I remember correctly you do have to be logged on as an Administrator before it will run.

Any of that help?

I realize I worded that poorly.  I meant specifically "before you can run the configuration program to edit or switch logons."  After that's been done, the selected logon screen of course appears prior to logging on.
