Will the planned DLC (not the expansions) have features that a modder can't make?

Please let us know when the equipment placing problem in the designer will be fixed.  It is extremely frustrating to reselect equipment each time you place it and it loses any changes you made to size or offset.  Help please.  All these wonderful new Krynn parts to use.  Parts are not exhibiting the same problem.

 

Also Rand has been losing ships, but I haven't.  Also have reports of alpha 2 ships coming back.

Will we be getting more interactive pop ups or responses from AI players? For example, I want the AI to pop up and ask me for just about anything. I want him to pop and say, "Give me Earth or we will destroy starbase X357 near our border"

 

The Drengin had similar threats and I LOVED THEM...please put them in!
