Old impulse

Is there a way to restore a game that was archived with impulse? The file extension is .impulse and I know they are gone now. Gamestop seems to have taken it over...however...cannot get the app to work (to re-download the game)...after spending 2 hours on the phone with their "support" to no avail....they are clueless(sadly)...it appears my only option is to try to open this old archived version I have.
