Issue in Windowblinds 8.06 64-bit and One Other Recommendation

There is an issue in the current version of Windowblinds when you try to delete a skin. If you open Windowblinds and delete a skin, it does not remove the skins folder if there are fonts in it. If you try to delete the folder manually it will not let you saying that the folder is in use.

If you reboot the computer and do not open Windowblinds, the folder can be deleted. But if you open Windowblinds, and don't even do anything in and and close it, and then try to delete same said folder, it will not let you again.

Irritating, please fix, thanks.  :)

One other thing too, if you delete a skin manually in the Windowblinds folder, and then open Windowblinds afterwards, the names for the skins you've removed still appear without thumbnails. You have to do a rebuild list to get them to go away. Any way of setting Windowblinds to automatically do a rebuild list when you open it, or when you add a new skin? Sure would be nice.

Sorry Gaspershooters, but that thread is over 7 years old, and I certainly would have never have found it in the first place. They also need to delete threads that haven't had a reply on them in over a year automatically anyway.  It related to a way older version of WB, and if Stardock has not fixed it by now, something is wrong with their system.  :S

Font files can be locked by the OS which is why they cannot always be deleted.

With regards to manual deletion, the reason for the cache in the first place is to save looking on the HD for all the skins.  Scanning to detect if one had been deleted would render this pointless.  This is why we offer the rebuild list option if you have done so.

I understand all that Neil, but what I don't understand is why, if I don't open the Windowblinds application, I can delete skin folders with fonts in the Windowblinds folder, but if I do open Windowblinds and then try I cannot. It is opening Windowblinds for some reason that is causing the font files to be locked, not the OS. Or am I missing something?  o_O
