Problems?.

Please be gentle, I am most definitely not an expert. I have a Hewlett Packard laptop, 10 months old, windows 8.1 and Start 8 loaded, all ok. I also have a desktop that I have just installed windows 8.1 on. Last night I downloaded Start 8, 30 days free. First question, do I have to purchase this edition?. Now to the problems, I had windows 7 on the desktop and set it up to install windows 8.1. Altered the bootup drive to DVD, now need to return to normal bootup. How do you access the bios in windows 8.1 with Start 8 running?.

Second problem, not a start 8 problem, but many knowledgeable people on here. The desktop has a SSD simply for the operating system to load onto. There are 2 HDD, the windows 8 install has found one but not the other. They are both SATA drives. I do not understand how this has happened, I would welcome any help offered.
