I'm not sure. I recorded a video earlier today and in the video I click the button and it did close. It might be worth giving SD a  little more information in case it's an OS or another issue.

Okay i did end up recording a video of the game(2 minutes) first launch I got no text and black background which CTD upon new map load.

Second launch I got somewhat into the game. But when i chose my spell my screen quit updating(note referring to monitor display) and got stuck on spellbook, yet when i watched the recorded video it showed that the spellbook closed and i was able to move and stuff but what was being displayed on screen was not that?
