Question about ship designer?

In galciv2 I could make a design and then modify it without making another copy. Now it seems when I make a design (or try simply modifying one over a few days.) no matter what I try it makes another copy.
Unless this isn't implemented yet or has been overlooked, its preferred to have a design that you are working on that doesn't keep cluttering up the list from having duplicates.

I never bothered making tons if designs till now, glad to hear this will change.
I am excited about the ship designer, because I think a lot more people will be doing ships. You can never have too many ship designs. Please share them.

I'll share freely, also you are free to modify them and post if you wish. You may want to modify as of right now I have them all set to highest techs. Just pm me your email and I'll zip the directory and send it to you.
