How Can I Get the Latest Update?

Hello all,

I just purchased this older game on ebay and I fid out impulse is now sold & I am stuck with the 1.0 version of the game.  I have looked for a dowload patch or something but it doesn't appear to exist or else I can't find it.  Does anyone know where I can add the serial number to my account so I can get the updates? Its not my fault they sold Impulse.  I just want the latest patch for the game since I hear it makes a whole world of difference.
