Flagship is a unique RTS currently being backed on Kickstarter.  Taking inspiration from other great RTS games,  Flagship looks to be a great addition to the RTS genre.  I look forward to this game and thought I would share the news!  Needless to say this is NOT my work, but belongs to Brad Jeffery and Matt J.

Exactly what is Flagship all about?  "Inspired by great RTS titles such as Homeworld, Sins of a Solar Empire and Total Annihilation, and incorporating the capital ship combat of sci-fi classics such as Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Battlestar Galactica, Flagship will allow you to command a fleet from the bridge of your own starship. Explore the stars, expand your territory and save humanity from being wiped out in a hostile galaxy."

As you can probably tell I am extremely excited for Flagship as well!  I just hope that it is able to reach its funding goal before the deadline.

Just something I am going to point out, an Oculus Rift is not necessary to play the game.  I don't have one, and don't expect to anytime soon.  But as Heavenfall brought out I might get an Oculus just for this game!   |-)

The Flagship Kickstarter project now has exclusive extras for those who pledge £40 or more.  One of which is the new Nova Class Carrier.  Just wanted those who are interested to know so that they don't miss out on the new exclusives.  Here is an early work in progress picture of the carrier.
