sell crypt on ebay?

is ebay appropriate for this?

A close friend in selling an above ground crypt.  New, not used, (smile)!  Its in a mausoleum, so its not portable.  I have never been to ebay.  Is ebay an appropriate and viable venue in which to auction off this crypt?  Advice?

can't see why not. I mean one bloke sold his virginity on Ebay and another sold a half eaten ham sandwhich. If you can get away with selling that a crypt seems tame in comparison

Sure. You can sell it, but I'd suggest listing it on Craig's list locally, also letting the local churches, synagogues and Funeral Homes know it's on the market - they might not give as good a price, but you never know.

There's probably someone out there just dying to buy it.

You can sell anything that's not illegal on ebay. I have been both a seller and buyer, with good results. I've never used Craigs list, but I've heard a lot of bad stuff. Its like

the wild west version of ebay.

the only thing I've seen refused on ebay is children... people have put their kids on ebay in jest when fed up with them and found the authorities do not share their sense of humour...at least I hope all of them were in jest...

syd...no such thing as flu for 4 weeks.

P'raps you should hazard to a visit your Doctor...and a course of antibiotics for a probable post flu bacterial lung infection if only to avoid...the coffin.

Appreciate comments, experience so far: Been on craigslist for 2 months...  funeral homes say 'no, we don't list those sorts of things, yada (even offering them a percentage!).'  Shuls, churches, ummm will pursue this idea.  Thanks!

Another friend of mine keeps getting facial spasms when he visits his family crypt.... his doctor told him it's a rare crypt tic.

Then there was the bloke who was knocked unconscious at the cemetery... was apparently hit by a headstone

And another friend of mine was a grave digger... his name is Doug.

Finally, I understand why he was sent to live out his days among kangaroos, and creatures so lethal you die if you look at a place their shadows once were.
