Trolling Steam boards...

So I added to the 3000+ thread whining about the price of the Elite edition back in March... I made up names for the expansions..

 

Yes, I also go the Elite Founders to get all the DLC and expansions. So look at the math and its a HUGE Deal. 

Base game: 49.99
Masters of Orion Expac: 29.99 (<< Troll name, just tossing out first expac name)
Spy masters return Expac: 29.99 (Another expac for first year.)
Revenge of the Snathi, DLC: 4.99 or perhaps its an expac?
PVP Arena Map Pack DLC: 4.99
Vulcans and Romulan race pack DLC: 4.99 (Just a placeholder name for more races dlc)

Looks to me I got my 100 dollars worth, who is the fool now?

You really shouldn't feed the trolls :)

I know its a good deal, you know its a good deal, at least, if you want to play the game within the next 10 years, this is a good price, but after the 10 years, I'm sure a good sale will occur where you can get something better (maybe earlier), but at that point I hope to be playing Gal Civ IV, or Gal Civ III expansion pack 27 will be coming out.

Yes, I plan on playing this game for at least a few years. I am amazed at how popular Gal Civ II still is and still sells well. I know I should not feed the trolls. Bad Lars, Bad! 

 

Nothing better than a full cup of 'whine' mixed with 'lack of Tactical Combat' tears.....

The thing is even if Stardock did lower the price originally for the Founder Elite to $49.99 and and not include all the extras, just gave them Alpha access, those same whiners about the price would change to the whining about I paid $49.99 for an unfinished game... rip off...

You can't please or reason with them so don't try.

Same place my Avatar is... at a long distant bar someplace enjoying their break from the forums. By the way, I do see your avatar. As well as Ryats, but not Larsenex or Seilore. And I do believe they are still recovering from the Monday forum boom.

I want to go there too...  might be a cache isse as I can see parrotmath's & Larsenex's but no one elses.
