favorite components not saving

iv played Galciv 2 for a long time now and this error has always seemed to be there any time i favorite a ship peice (AKA an extra) it does not remember it after i leave the shipbuilder or game

It remembers extras and the hull (but nothing else) when saved as a user template. In later games, click on the template and "use" to build on it.

not templates im talking about Favorite components not saving

in the shipbuilder theres an option called favorite but it doesent seem to save the component i favorited
