Windowblinds 8.05 not installing correctly

Greetings,

Tried to install Windowblinds 8.05 this morning. Installation starts and goes on for a few seconds, then it kicks me out to the login screen. I log back in and see the Welcome circle spinning for a second, screen goes black and I'm kicked back out to the login screen. This continues to happen.

 

Thankfully I made a restore point prior to installation. So I did a restore and tried to install Windowblinds again. Same thing happens.........

Windows 8.1 pro 64bit.

Try installing it as Administrator.

OK. Delete the download and use CCleaner to make sure all remnants are gone.

Then redownload it (I'd turn off the firewall/AV) and then when the dl is complete, turn them on again and try to install as Administrator.

If this doesn't work, send an email to [email protected] (mention this thread's url) and keep the auto reply. Don't answer it, but keep it as it has your ticket number. Only answer the signed email from support. It might be Tuesday before they get back to you as the weekend's help requests accumulate.
