Darkest before the dawn.

ill make it.

I was in the best shape of my life and doing fine. Taking pictures of sunsets and loving peaceful bike rides...

At mid May a few days after my glorious birthday I busted my ribs and back. (not saying how) :( since then I haven't been able to do anything and I've been getting weaker and weaker as I sit and do nothing. Evengoing down stairs makes me wobbly. :( Playing games and writing and taking pain pills and staying up till 4,5,6:00AM is what my life is now, in a rut. :(

BUT soon I will rise as I'm tired of being a worthless maggot on meds! I will become stronger than my weakness. I will literally work out my weaknesses by working out! And do it listening to the Dark knight sound track from the Batman movies and something like "Eye of the tiger" too :)

So I don't need luck or fate as I have the will and persistence to never fail and become the best me I can be! Agggggg! 2% body fat here I come (again)!!!!!!!

...but really, you need time to heal.  Your doctor should give you exercises and such that you can do. But I do sincerely wish you the best, on your road to recovery!!

Ditto.  All the best DARCA1213.   Walking is very good.  So one step at a time and tomorrow add a few more.  You can do eet.

I'd actually suggest that before setting out for a triathlon you might listen to your Doctor and if he/she agrees and barring open wounds and you know how to swim, to start with supervised pool exercise in warm water. There will be less weight on your spine and the buoyancy will reduce strain on your limbs.

All the best Darca. Remember...one step at a time. All good things come to those who persist.

You can do it. Will will help you. If he don't, call us.

I've also been hypnotizing myself so things are easier because of it. :)

docs say its a tendon that's strained and it caused my left rib cage to hurt and look as odd. So I will start swimming like I used to and do pull ups. (I like pull ups) and stretching and walking to get rid of my jelly legs and clicking back.

And since I've been prescribed a powerful ibuprofen work out shouldn't feel so tough!

I will be like batman in the pit on the third movie getting stronger. I love that movie. :)

thks everyone, I will not quit. I will run again!
