Smurfing is back

Everyone thought that Steam fixed the problem, but it's back. These days when I log on to a lobby I don't recognize half the players yet they have 500+ games. Worse, their portraits and steam nicks look strangely familiar. The clever ones even change both, repeatedly cycling through them so no one recognizes them. Some even buy a new copy (LMAO).

Please fix, unless you want more 15 minute rage quits.

Out of curiosity, how would SD even begin to fix this?

We have a great influx of new players. Perhaps the players from years ago have come back to play with them! B)

The_Gear must be the new admin troll. At least in Sinkillr's eye.

The problem is not that someone with an 800 game record takes up a new name.  You know what you're in for if you see someone with a record like that in a PvP game.  The problem is people who reinstall the game and have a record of 30 games played under the new account.

Sinker does it again..trying to out-troll Seleucela by creating a new meaning of smurf.

SD has no interest sharing the smurf detector app.  It renders all instances of players steam profile(s) game history by registered Steam ID and subsequent "avatar" names.  It is available on Android Play Store, but not Apple yet.
